In the heart of Rheinhessen grapevines grow in vineyards, some of which have belonged to our family for nearly 200 years. We are paying respect to humans and nature with a sustainable and resource-saving approach to winegrowing. At the same time we are successfully implementing innovative ideas – an approach that arouses interest.
Distinctive vineyard sites and soils characterize our wide selection of wines from 21 grape varieties. More than 60 wines and sparkling wines of the highest quality mature in our impressive wine cellar. The diverse range of our wines is characterized by expressive fruity white wines with a distinctive varietal profile and warm, full-bodied red wines with a strong character. Our special bonbon: fruit-sweet red and white wines, refreshing and fruity.
TOP 100 WINEMAKER RANKING
We are very pleased to be included in the TOP 100 list of the best wine producers, which the German Agricultural Society has been compiling for many years.
Every autumn, the DLG honors the sustainable and consistent pursuit of quality by German winemakers with two of its own rankings, the "DLG Top 100 of the best wine producers" and the "DLG Top 10 of the best sparkling wine producers".
The decisive factors for the placement in the best lists are the performance of the winery in the current federal wine awards as well as the performance in the DLG quality tests of the past years.

DER FEINSCHMECKER
A team of twelve expert tasters tasted and evaluated more than 4,500 wines in search of the best of the best. The results were published in a paperback that will be published with the FEINSCHMECKER issue 1/2025.
At the national competitions - State Wine Award of the Chamber of Agriculture Rhineland-Palatinate & DLG -, as well as the international competitions AWC Vienna & Mundus Vini, the quality of our wines has been awarded several times.
